QUALITY
Manufactured inside our purpose built workshop from only the highest quality New Zealand made materials, Rapid Rooms are constructed from an insulated slip joint panel system with either a steel or timber base.
The buildings feature an attractive hard-wearing COLORSTEEL impervious surface & trims. Buildings are completely pre-wired & plumbed & incorporate excellent thermal properties. Our buildings all meet with the New Zealand building code standards.

We want you to get the most bang for your buck. As we offer a complete service from concept to completion you don’t get any surprise costs like external design fees, saving you not only money but time.
We have the support of a large construction company, so we are also able to guide and support you through the installation process, avoiding the need for unknown costs from additional sub-contractors and councils.
Our buildings are always constructed to meet the New Zealand building code standards, which means the are compliant and up to the task of standing strong with all NZ climates.

KERRY ARCHER
Managing Director
A carpenter by trade for 23 years before moving into pricing and project management Kerry has been at the helm of Archer Construction since 2003. He initially formed Rapid Rooms in 2004 to meet the demands of the local market for quality portable buildings for sale or hire that could be supplied & serviced without delay. Such has been the growth and success of the company that Rapid Rooms now deliver portable building solutions well beyond the Southern Region, transporting all over the South Island, including many distant and remote locations. Just as the locations have grown so too has the product range to encompass new & varied industries in an ever revolving market.
As past president of the Southland Branch of Registered Master Builders, Kerry has a keen interest in the building and construction industry at a national level and now as a current director on the National Board of Registered Master Builders, as well as National President he remains proud and passionate about construction in the South.
MATT MCLAREN
Sales & Design
Joining Rapid Rooms & Archer Construction in 2017 Matt has a diverse background in sales, design and building, and brings a fresh approach to these areas.
Looking after all our client liaison within our Rapid Rooms Portable Building sales division, Matt takes care of these projects from conception to completion. He has a great strength and skill in offering clients unique building and design solutions to meet any specific requirements.
Highly skilled in the use of architectural software Matt provides designs & plans in-house which is of great advantage to our clients in both cost and time, enabling changes to be made without delay and provide solutions to unique specifications.
BELINDA ARCHER
Admin & Hire
Belinda takes care of all administrative duties for Rapid Rooms as well as coordinating all the logistics for our hire buildings, including servicing & delivery. She welcomes your enquiry regarding short and long term rentals and will work with you to best accommodate your requirements.
